This weekend we attended the Foodworx Conference in Portland. We filmed a lot of amazing presentations around food innovations, advocacy, and policy changes. We got to meet and talk with a lot of people involved in the event, including Gregory Gourdet of Departure. The Top Chef contestant talked about using local Oregon resources for ingredients and as well as planning special vegan and paleo events at the restaurant. “We have to respect people and their diets.”
Gregory gave us no clues to the finale of Top Chef, so we will be tuning in with much anticipation to cheer for him this week!
